Anantara Bangkok Riverside Resort & Spa presents Winter Black Truffle Season

Discover Italy’s passion for the finest black truffles at Anantara Bangkok Riverside Resort & Spa’s stylish Italian restaurant, Brio.  Designed to delight connoisseurs, the restaurant’s talented Italian chef presents an exclusive à la carte Winter Black Truffle Menu, available for lunch and dinner up until 28th February 2013.

Experience the Italian way of life in a Tuscan villa style setting.  Savour uniquely flavourful cuisine with a refined selection of land and sea masterpieces that are crafted from the finest imported ingredients, and enhanced by gourmet black truffles from France.

Indulge in a succulent Australian Black Angus beef carpaccio, with smoked eggplant caviar and Argan oil, embellished by shoots and slices of winter black truffle priced THB720.  Tempt the palate with a slow cooked egg at 62˚C on a creamy aged parmesan velouté, with crispy parma ham dust, surrounded by a ring of black truffle at THB640.  Sample Brio’s classic Italian black truffle risotto “Carnaroli”, which takes 20 minutes to cook from scratch priced THB680.  Relish homemade tortelloni stuffed with a compote of modenese pumpkin, aromatised sage butter, a reduction of sweet and sour balsamic vinegar, and finished with a julienne of black truffle for THB620.  Seafood enthusiasts can opt for the American snow fish fillet pan fried on the skin side, covered by a crust of black olives and accompanied by a purée of black truffle potatoes and green pepper corn veal jus priced only THB 1,020.  While diners who desire an extra serving of winter black truffle are welcome to order more by the gram.
