“Signature” dishes crafted by Chef Por will include minced chicken in shrimp paste dip served with vegetables (THB 290++), Wagyu beef flank soup with sweet potato (THB 350++), Scottish salmon in fish sauce served with bitter gourd (THB 390++), wing bean salad with foie gras (THB 330++), fried shrimps wrapped in fine Phuket noodles with mango dipping sauce (THB 310++), Australian beef tenderloin in shrimp paste curry with lemon grass and sweet basil (THB 380++) and six hours slowly braised New Zealand lamb shank in massaman curry with purple and yellow sweet potato (THB 690++), alongside many other delicacies.
Suan Bua Restaurant, an institution in Bangkok for over 30 years, has been renovated its completely new look to create a warm but stylish atmosphere. The “New Suan Bua” offers an intimate dining experience which combines Chef Santiphap Petchwao’s expertise with the traditional and internationally-competitive modern dining environment. Simplicity and natural materials are at the heart of the new design, with the recurring “lotus” emblem used as a symbolic “Suan Bua”.
