The mid-autumn festival, a traditional harvest festival, is one of the four most important festivals in China and is also widely celebrated amongst the Chinese diaspora across Asia and around the world. Mooncakes have been regarded for centuries as an integral part of the festival celebrations. The festival takes place on the night of the full moon in the eight month of the Chinese calendar.

Okura mooncakes are available from 1 August – 30 September 2015 at La Pâtisserie, located on the ground floor of the Park Ventures Ecoplex. Open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm (weekdays) and 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturdays.
