Swiss company Movenpick is launching its “Super Premium” ice cream for discerning Thai consumers that appreciate highest quality ingredients.
Olivier Jakubowicz, Movenpick Country Manager Thailand said the company has already widely distributed its “Super Premium” ice cream in leading hotels in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore.
“Currently in Thailand, we are already selling Movenpick ice cream at five-star hotels including The Sukhothai, Banyan Tree, Plaza Athenee and Le Meridien,” he said.
With today’s launch, Movenpick ice cream will soon be available in luxury restaurants and leading supermarkets in Bangkok and tourist destinations throughout the country.
Jakubowicz said that Movenpick Ice Cream to use only high-quality 100% natural ingredients such as cocoa from the Maracaibo region of Venezuela, vanilla Bourbon from Madagascar, Canadian maple syrup, fresh berries and cream. “Our ice cream is produced in Switzerland and imported directly to each country including Thailand at -25%C to maintain consistent qualities and freshness.” he said.
Initially, Movenpick offer 7 ice cream flavors in Thailand including Vanilla Dream, Swiss Chocolate, Strawberry, Espresso Croquant, Caramelita, Stracciatella, Maple Walnut and 3 sorbet flavors: Passion fruit and Mango, Lemon and Lime and Raspberry.
Movenpick Ice Cream was invented in 1961 by the chefs in Swiss-based five-star Movenpick Hotel. “The soon-to-be famous brand has since then been recognized by leading chefs and hotels as being the best in class.” Jakubowicz said.
The General Manager of the Sukhothai Hotel, George Benney recently quoted: “Not only are Mövenpick’s ice creams renown for their Swiss perfection and passion in creating rich tastes, but colour, texture and all-natural ingredients shows Mövenpick takes everything into account.”
