“Fifteen Facets” The Peninsula Bangkok Celebrates 15 Years in Style

As part of the crystal anniversary celebrations of The Peninsula Bangkok’s 15th year, the hotel will launch “Fifteen Facets” – a special guest package featuring 15 unique Peninsula experiences.

As a way of saying ‘thank you’ for 15 memorable years and looking forward to a future of continued indulgence in ways only The Peninsula Bangkok knows how, Fifteen Facets is designed to pamper guests with a variety of special programmes and treatments, from the moment they arrive until their departure.

Priced at THB 55,150++ per two guests for four nights’ stay and valid from 1 May to 31 October 2013, the main features of the package comprise:

1.             Fast track welcome at Suvarnabhumi Airport
Guests arrive in style with a meet-and-greet service from the door of the plane, and are whisked through immigration and customs to their waiting limousine.

7.     One hour spa treatment for two at The Peninsula Spa

The Peninsula Spa features 14 treatment rooms and four suites (two Private Spa Suites and two River Private Spa Suites), a Tea Lounge and Relaxation Rooms which together create a full-service oasis in the heart of the city. 10.   The Peninsula Academy Top Chefs’ Secrets

Guests can enjoy a private behind-the-scenes experience with The Peninsula’s award-winning chefs. Guest will learn how to make dim sum in the Mei Jiang kitchen followed by a sumptuous dim sum lunch in the restaurant, and will also be invited to join the pastry team in creating delicious chocolates or macaroons and discover what goes on in the hotel’s extensive kitchens. This programme is also offered as part of the hotel’s Peninsula Academy programmes for all guests. 

11.  The Peninsula Afternoon Tea for two

Guests can experience The Peninsula Traditional Afternoon Tea of sweet and savoury delicacies, including various themed Afternoon Teas on such as the popular Thai Afternoon Tea with a focus on locally sourced delicacies. All Afternoon Teas served at The Peninsula Bangkok are prepared “à la minute” – the scones freshly baked to guest’s liking and the finger sandwiches carefully prepared by the hotel’s expert culinary team.

12.  Tuk Tuk Tour of Klongsan

13.  Asiatique The Riverfront Visit by Peninsula Private Boat

Located a little downstream on the opposite bank of the river to the hotel, Asiatique The Riverfront is an expansive open-air cutting-edge festival market with river views. It offers intriguing Thai souvenir shopping, drinks and dining experiences as well as breathtaking Bangkok views from the top of a giant Ferris wheel.

14.  The Peninsula Academy Footprint from the Past

Guests can explore the olden days of Bangkok as still found in neighbourhoods around the river dating back two centuries and more, all in the capable company of a knowledgeable guide with access to all the most prized sites. The sense of stepping back in time is particularly mesmerising at Kudee Chin Chinese shrine. Three-hour programmes are offered, including a Thai puppet show before returning to the hotel. This programme is also offered as part of the hotel’s Peninsula Academy programmes for all guests.

15.  Late Check-out until 6:00 pm

Late check-out benefit allows guests to sleep in, relax by the pool, see more of the local area or enjoy last-minute shopping in the city.
