“This is our Land” art exhibition staged

at Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld

The group of Thai artists known as 3 x 6 + 1 received most of their educational grounding inThailandand graduation frominstituteofArt,Bangkok. Their more fifty solo exhibition since returning to reunion to be 3 x 6 + 1 group, 3 x 6 + 1 group presents their most provocative series of explicitly charged paintings to date.

Inspired byLandofThailandoccult symbolism, they finite linear paintings in acrylic and oil ink on the paper of Land’sThailandexplore the young artist’s fantastical imagination. They express the value ofThailandculture and integrity of the natural resources and beauty. Their works use poetic expression to intimate merciful feeling towards The King, patriotism, and history of Thailand.

“This is our Land” will be on display in the Sky Lobby, Centara Grand and Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld, from Monday, September 3rd to Monday, October 1st 2012. Entry to the exhibition is free of charge, and the works are for sale. Donations during the event will go to the project “Rotary Club of samphantawong, 3350” The hotel is open daily is located at 999/99 Rama I Road Patumwan, Bangkok 10330 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.
