New Launched promotion ‘Raw United’ from the Metropolitan, Bangkok

The  Metropolitan introduce new launched promotion ‘Raw United’ at Glow restaurant. Diana von Cranach, chef and pioneer of the purely Southeast Asian ‘living’ food movement and Chris Miller, Executive Chef at the Metropolitan worked together for five years at COMO Shambhala Estate, Ubud, Bali.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now they are back together again to introduce their unique style of ‘living’ cuisine to inquisitive Thais from the 8th to the 12th of May. Diana and Chris will feature an a la carte selection and additional set menus available for lunch and dinner, including Green & White Gala dinner on the 11th of May.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Diana von Cranach:

British born Diana von Cranach, Egyptologist, interior designer and Southeast Asian ‘Living food’ chef, holds court in the far north of Bali at her beautiful property Puri Genesha, at least when she’s not travelling to check her restaurant L’Elephant Vert in Luang Prabang or working as a guest chef at COMO Shambhala, Ubud. With her book ‘Rawfully Good Living Flavours of Southeast Asia’ in its second year of publication and her reputation as bright as her trademark lipstick, Diana is a delightful hostess and a firm believer in the old adage: ‘you are what you eat!’

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chris Miller:

Australian-born Chris Miller comes to Bangkok after a one-year stint with Amanda Gale at Parrot Cay in the Turks and Caicos. Prior to that, Miller worked with Neil Perry at Rockpool and Wockpool in Sydney (consistently voted among the city’s top three restaurants). Miller’s style of cooking combines pan-Asian influences with a deep respect for sourcing ingredients.
