Le Méridien Chiang Rai Resort, the sole five-star resort in Chiang Rai city, has won 2012 Social Hotel Awards in the ‘Best Reputation Management’ category by HOTELS magazine, adding to its remarkable award-winning portfolio.
Announced in the September issue of HOTELS magazine, the inaugural Hotel Social Awards are given to hotel brands and individual properties which demonstrate successful and innovative media campaigns as well as marketing via social media.
Ranging from best Facebook page to best reputation management, the awards are divided by hotel brand and individual property. The winners are chosen by a panel of social media experts and the HOTELS editorial staff from more than 120 entries in 10 categories. Entries were evaluated for their quality, creativity and reflection on the brand’s voice and goal accomplishment, among other criteria. Le Méridien Chiang Rai Resort is awarded the Best Reputation Management for its prompt and active engagement with guest’s feedback.
