Valentine’s Day, named after the 3rd century Roman saint, is traditionally the romantic day of the year but the celebrations at The Okura Prestige Bangkok extend throughout the entire week-end (14 – 16 February 2014).
The hotel’s romantic dining choices begin at the signature Japanese restaurant Yamazato with a set lunch priced at Baht 800++. Dinner options include a special Teppanyaki menu featuring grilled lobster and Japanese beef sirloin priced at Baht 3,500++.
Up & Above restaurant offers a four course set menu priced at Baht 4,200++ per couple.
Elements restaurant provides a sparkling choice with a five-course set dinner created by new chef de cuisine Henry Jordan that includes a complimentary bottle of pink sparkling wine. This special Valentine’s dinner is priced at Baht 9,900++ per couple.
From 10 to 17 February 2014 at Up & Above Bar, guests can create their own signature love cocktails by choosing from a tray of ingredients and mixing with Prosecco (Baht 2,500++) or Champagne (Baht 5,500++). The best cocktail created on Valentine’s Day (14 February 2014), as judged by hotel Sommelier Marc Bittner, will win a dining voucher for two.

Finally, La Pâtisserie, the hotel’s retail outlet on the first floor, offers a tempting selection of themed items including a red velvet Valentine’s cake priced at Baht 700 net. The hotel has also created a Limited Edition Valentine’s Hamper. Each red Hamper simply oozes affection and includes a selection of top quality items such as a bottle of pink sparkling wine, caviar , ‘love creations’ from the Pastry Chef including a Valentine’s cake, pralines, macaroons and cookies plus, of course, a red rose. These Limited Edition Valentine’s Hampers are priced at Baht 6,999 net.
