To qualify for a Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travellers on TripAdvisor, and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months.
Since opening in January 2012, Oriental Residence Bangkok has already received a number of awards from TripAdvisor, including overall winner for Bangkok in the luxury hotel and top hotel category by TripAdvisor in its 2013 Travellers’ Choice® awards. The property regularly features in the number 1 spot on TripAdvisor out of 700+ hotels in Bangkok.
Centrepiece of the ONYX portfolio, the Amari brand, also received a number of awards for its properties, including; Amari Atrium Bangkok, Amari Watergate Bangkok, Amari Residences Bangkok, Amari Coral Beach Phuket, Amari Emerald Cove Koh Chang, Amari Nova Suites Pattaya, Amari Orchid Pattaya, Amari Palm Reef Koh Samui and Amari Vogue Krabi.
Also awarded by TripAdvisor were Vogue Resort and Spa Ao Nang, Nova Gold Hotel, Nova Platinum Hotel, City Lodge Soi 19 all under The Mosaic Collection, a group of the properties managed by ONYX. A further two properties belonging to Shama, ONYX’s serviced apartment brand also received awards for Shama Sukhumvit Bangkok and Shama Causeway Bay Hong Kong.
