Phongsak Mikhunthong Executive Sous Chef GLOW Pratunam

Phongsak Mikhunthong has been appointed as Executive Sous Chef of GLOW Pratunam. With the strong passion for cooking and excellent cooking skills, Phongsak has over 16-year culinary experience from many famous hotels and resorts including Juldis Khao Yai Resort and Spa, Central Samui Village, Central Wong Amat Beach Resort (Pattaya) and Kirimaya (Khao-Yai).
Prior to this appointment, he was a Sous Chef at Dream Hotel (Bangkok) with full responsibilities in Thai, European and Fusion Cuisines. Phongsak also experienced in catering and banquet services for hotels.
Phongsak’s skills has led him to many awards such as gold award of Asians 1st Culinary Cup 2009, the winner of Modern Asia Cuisine and the winner of Thai Fusion Set Menu 2011 by joining in Thailand World Food of Asia Chef Competition. Recently, Phongsak had been awarded for the Best Ultimate Professional Chef Awards of THAIFEX-World Food Asia-Thailand Chefs Competition 2012, organized by the Department of International Trade Promotion with the purpose to promote Thai chefs to the world.
