Shang Palace at Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok adds a new low sugar lotus seed mini
mooncake with snow skin to the restaurant’s popular mooncake collection to celebrate
the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival in the Chinese calendar. The mooncakes are
available from 10 August to 2 October 2012.
The fillings of Shang Palace’s home-made mooncakes this year include mixed fruit and
nut paste, durian paste, lotus seed paste, red bean paste, cream paste, and cream and
bird’s-nest paste. For a healthier choice, the restaurant’s Hong Kong master chef and
his team have created low sugar lotus seed mini mooncakes with snow skin. Family
members, friends and associates can enjoy mooncakes presented in gift packages of
sets of four and eight pieces, or six pieces for mini mooncakes.
Patrons placing a guaranteed order for a minimum of Bt100,000 net at Shangri-La
Hotel, Bangkok and collecting the order before 12 September 2012 will receive an
early bird offer with a 20 per cent discount.
Shang Palace’s mooncakes are available at the hotel’s NEXT2 Chao Phraya on level
one, and at the Gourmet Market of Siam Paragon and The Emporium.
