Scalini is the signature restaurant at the Hilton Sukhumvit. As the name indicates “Scalini” is Italian. The restaurant serves modern Italian with a twist, opening all day from breakfast to dinner. Scalini is located on the second floor of the Hilton Sukhumvit which is in soi Sukhumvit 24 just a few steps from Emporium and EmQuatier.

From the lobby we took the grand circular stairs to the second floor, the first thing we saw was a beautiful display of chocolates and desserts. Scalini has a big open kitchen as we were guided to our table the chef were busy preparing the food. The dining area is very well decorated surrounded with glass panels and shelves full of wines.
The brunch here is both buffet and ala carte; the buffet stations contains a large array of items appetizers and antipasti; many items are in the ala carte menu as well.
We started at the chilled seafood station what caught our eyes was the unlimited Maine lobster.
Imparted Oysters were very large in size and very fresh a perfect pairing with the Prosecco.

Foie gras burger with mango chutney

Roasted Australian rib eye steak with butternut was cooked to perfection. The quality of beef was very good.
Boston lobster and spaghetti pasta cooked in the Sicilian way mushroom sauce
Pork belly with Sichuan black pepper, green apple and bean puree, soy, and a honey sauce
Slow cooked lamb ribs with truffle puree and lentil stew.
Orecchiette pasta with spicy gorgonzola and black truffle paste
Risotto with wild mushrooms and balsamic syrup
If you are into chocolate, this is the place many type of chocolate cakes, chocolate tarts and chocolate truffles.
The Sparkling Scalini Sunday Brunch offers a wide range of quality food at a very reasonable price of only 1,800 baht net per person which includes free flow of fresh fruit juices; only 700 baht more to add unlimited Prosecco which includes after brunch cocktail at Lapse the pool on the rooftop. Chef Egidio did a great job in creating each dish to be so colorful with many flavors and textures.
