Bangkok’s Funk Shui club experience, CHI, has officially landed with a Grand Opening party, the first public reveal of CHI’s stunning inner sanctum, the belly of the dragon, and its reinvention of the supperclub. In partnership with Royal Thai cuisine legend, Blue Elephant, CHI has unveiled a new vision for the supperclub concept, Mana, meaning “divine nourishment,” bringing a menu of exotic, spiritual and technical influences to diners in Bangkok. CHI, as Thailand’s first world-class Diageo club, also provided an exciting array of cocktails concocted by the talents of in-house mixologists. The opening party marked the first time CHI’s doors swung open to welcome members of the public to the very first taste of CHI, located in Sukhumvit Soi 13.

In partnership with Royal Thai cuisine legend, Blue Elephant, CHI has also unveiled a new vision for the supperclub concept. Mana, meaning “divine nourishment,” brings a menu that blends exotic, spiritual and technical influences to Bangkok. The Grand Opening Party offered a teaser of food menus to come, with media guests keen to interview executive members of Blue Elephant and CHI. The supperclub will soon introduce magnificent menus created by Chef Tony Bish of Blue Elephant, as well as a dedication to guest service combined to offer elegance, fun and Asian lounge culture in an entirely new way.
Daryl Scott, nightclub pioneer and owner of CHI, explains: “We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the exciting and innovative new direction for dining and nightlife in Bangkok. CHI’s design features elements of decorative work in ancient Chinese inspired structures and sweeping staircases and mezzanines connecting both the restaurant and club sides of the venue. We hope that guests find CHI a really high quality option for clubbing and relaxing, and also, an international destination that will attract a lot of visitors and international performers going forward.”
