THE PENINSULA BANGKOK WELCOMES FAMILIES THIS SUMMER WITH “PENINSULA FAMILY MOMENTS”

The Peninsula Bangkok’s new family travel programme is offering a 50% discount on adjoining rooms, complimentary dining, child-friendly activities and insider guides, making your family vacation an adventure to remember.

Family travel just got a lot more fun this summer as The Peninsula Bangkok introduces “Family Moments”, a programme offering great value and fun for kids of all ages.

Ideally located on the west bank of the historic Chao Phraya River, The Peninsula Bangkok is the perfect place for an unforgettable family vacation. From 1 January to 20 December 2014, Family Moments offers 50% off the cost of an adjoining room for children under 12 years old. They will also enjoy free dining from the kids’ menu or buffet plus a range of amenities and programmes tailored just for junior guests, including The Peninsula Kids Academy’s collection of cultural and fun activities.

Adventure upon Arrival

The adventure begins with a scavenger hunt offering behind-the-scenes glimpses of the hotel and special treats to make young guests feel at home. From the traditional Chinese door lions stationed at the entrance, the famous Rolls-Royce and BMW 7 Series limousines, Peninsula pages, The Lobby to other fascinating details, the kids will learn what makes The Peninsula special.

Insider Destination Guides for Kids by Kids

Who better to give young travellers the inside scoop on each destination than local children? The Peninsula Bangkok consulted the experts to offer families the “Pen 10”, an insider’s guide on the 10 best kid-selected things to do. From the best park and local adventure to the best ice cream and playground, see and experience the city of Bangkok through the eyes of local children.

For a hands-on exploration and a taste of local culture, The Peninsula Bangkok offers The Peninsula Kids Academy, a collection of experiential programmes for young guests. The programmes include:

Kids’ Amenities

The Peninsula Bangkok makes family moments even more convenient with special room amenities for kids such as a baby basket, bottle steriliser, bottle warmer, potty, bathtub, rail, bed linen, highchair, stroller and slippers. A folder specially made for kids will also be given, which includes a special game, colour pencils, registration card and luggage tags.
