The Siam’s Opium Spa and Muay Thai Gymnasium continues to grow its health and wellness offerings with the launch of its Guest Practitioner Series. An evolving roster of experts in various health and wellness disciplines will take up residency at The Siam for limited engagements. This carefully curated list of global practitioners will allow Siam guests and Bangkok residents to experience programs not normally available in the Kingdom.
Charity-Robinson
Celebrity trainer and yogi, Charity Joy Robinson, joins The Siam as our first Guest Practitioner in Residence. Residing 7 months of the year in Mustique, which is a private island in the Eastern Caribbean, she teaches group classes to locals and private lessons to Mustique home owners and guests. Charity takes great pride in teaching yoga, dance, and fitness classes to the local community as much as she does its celebrity and royal residents.
From her training and teaching she created her own style of yoga she calls Joy of Movement, which integrates influences from various aspects of her life: traveling, insights from personal movement explorations, studies with knowledgeable teachers, working with students with different cultural backgrounds of the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia. When you participate in a class with Charity, be prepared to have FUN and to be challenged, in a way you never knew your body would enjoy.
Charity is a certified instructor by Moksha Yoga Center of Chicago. She completed 200 contact hours which complies with the Yoga Alliance of National Teacher and Training Standards. As a Vinyasa flow yoga teacher she has logged in over 900 hours of training and teaching. http://www.mokshayoga.com
When in Asia she was exposed to the loving kindness (metta) of Thai yoga massage. She finds great satisfaction healing through the Thai technique. Charity also has experience with hands on energy healing practicing Reiki and Access Consciousness. She facilitates classes to learn the process called The Bars. Be sure to sign up for a healing session because she will open up blocked energy pathways and help you find a new kind of peace with your body.
Ready for infinite possibilities of you enjoying a class with Charity Joy? She is an enlightened soul who facilitates movement to allow you to become more aware of what your body would truly desire which translates to spiritual and mental well being. Would you be willing to appreciate your body without judgment? To live more fully accept who you are and how you are in the present tense? If you are open to her teachings she will hope you find a comfortable place in your body and celebrate it! Celebrate it!
While in residence Charity will be available for private 60 minute sessions in:

The Bars – Healing Session (60 minutes)
Gym
There are 32 bars of energy that run through and around your head that connect to different aspects of your life. They store the electromagnetic component of all the thoughts, ideas, attitudes, decisions and beliefs that you have ever had about anything. Touch one Bar and you begin to clear away the energy locked up in that area or aspect of your life just by touching it. Add in touching another Bar and you not only get the “issues” from the first Bar, you also begin clearing the “issues” stored in that second Bar. As well you clear all the points of view about those two Bars in relation to eachother, allowing for exponential change.
At worst you feel like you have just had the best massage of your life. At best your whole life can change into something greater with total ease. This is an incredibly nurturing and relaxing process, undoing limitation in all aspects of your life without any effort.
The Siam is fortunate to have Charity in residence between October 7th and 26th. All sessions are private and advanced bookings are required. Please contact Spa Director Khun Sombat to make bookings; sombat@thesiamhotel.com or 02-206-6925.
