Tender, succulent white asparagus is one of the world’s great delicacies, and spring is the best season to enjoy it, specially imported from Franceand prepared by Fifty Five’s talented Chef Mikko Kataja. White asparagus is being served during dinner throughout the months of June 2013 at Fifty Five inCentara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld.

Amongst the dishes Chef Mikko will be preparing are white asparagus with slow-poached duck egg and black truffle hollandaise; asparagus mayonnaise, smoked pancetta, quail eggs and toast; char-grilled green asparagus with Austrian Vulcan ham, pickles and aged balsamic; asparagus with baby leeks and truffle dressing; asparagus and almond risotto with home-smoked Norwegian salmon; fillets of sole with white and green asparagus, morels and Noilly Prat sauce; charred lamb chops with asparagus and new season potatoes; and Australian Wagyu beef tenderloin with asparagus and cep mushroom tart.
