The Siam Tea Room, the authentic Thai restaurant and casual café at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, is inviting guests to embark on a gastronomic journey to some of the world’s most spectacular wonders with an exclusive Wine Dinner. In partnership with Cafe Buongiorno, the boutique wine company, our talented chefs will craft a menu that fuses the finest elements of Thai and Italian cuisine, accompanied by hand-selected Italian wines.

Inspired by the UNESCO World Heritage vineyards of Arrigoni and Trappolini, this is a global epicurean adventure between East and West that will delight discerning foodies and wine lovers alike. The talented chefs at The Siam Tea Room will embrace the time-honored techniques of Italian cookery, and infuse them with local Thai ingredients to create a culinary experience like no other.

Exclusive Wine dinner

Guests will be greeted with a trio of small bites – a Baccalà Mantecato Cone filled with Italian whipped salt cod, a Thai Northern Sausage Taco, and a Khao Soy Curry Arancini – a classic Italian rice ball that bursts with the flavor of Northern Thailand’s famous curry. These bite-sized delights will be complemented with a flute of Arrigoni “Blanche” Vino Spumante, a vibrant Italian sparkling wine.

Two Primo appetizers will combine the art of Italian pasta-making with traditional Thai flavors. Tom Yum Prawn Ravioli features elegant pillows of pasta filled with the essence of Thailand’s iconic spicy & sour soup, including tiger prawn, coriander and roasted chili paste, perfectly paired with a glass of Trappolini “Il Piccolo Vermentino Bianco” Toscana IGP, a zesty white wine from Tuscany. And Rigatoni Carbonara is a timeless pasta dish from Rome that has been given a unique Thai twist, with deep-fried sundried pork and shredded pork jerky, topped with Parmesan cheese and accompanied with Trappolini “Viti Vecchie Bianco Est Est Est” di Montefiascone DOC, a fresh and floral white wine.

A Contorno dish of Eggplant Parmigiana with braised pork rib and tomato compote, paired with Trappolini “Canaiolo Nero” Lazio IGT, a rich, ruby-red wine, will be followed by the Secondo main course: an aromatic Kra Paow Beef Risotto with braised beef cheek, hot basil pesto and roasted chili, blending the ancient techniques of Italian rice cookery with the evocative Thai flavors of pad kra paow. This delectable recipe will be complemented with a glass of Trappolini “Crogneto Rosso” Lazio IGT, a fruity and full-bodied red from the rolling hills and vineyards around Rome.

This multicultural culinary journey then concludes with a Dolce dessert of Mango Sticky Rice Sicilian, featuring cannolo, zabione and a Moscato d’Asti sauce, accompanied with a glass of Arrigoni “Alfredo Moscato d’Asti” DOCG, a sublime sweet white wine.

The Exclusive Wine Dinner will be held at The Siam Tea Room, Sukhumvit 22 from 13 June to 13 July 2025 (18:00 – 22:30 hrs), priced at THB 2,000 net per person.
