30th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony At Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok

Colonel Thanpuying Jitrawadee Chulanont representing HRH Princess Soamsawali recently presided at the 30th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok to celebrate the 86th birthday of HM King Bhumibhol, to thank our loyal clients and friends and to welcome the festive season.

This year also marks the 7th year that the Christmas Tree Charity Project was organized by the hotel with Livingetc. and Wallpaper* magazine and various sponsors along with a handful of celebrity artists designing their trees.  The best decorated Christmas Tree by popular votes went to the tree of HSBC Thailand designed by their in-house artist which had a concept of basically that of happiness with Smiley figurines placed in a rolling wheel, in a bid to dispel any negativity from what has been another trying year for Thailand with HSBC’s signature red which also signifies the colour of Christmas.  HSBC went home with a trophy presented by Colonel Thanpuying Jitrawadee Chulanont on behalf of HRH Princess Soamsawali.

The Christmas trees are displayed around Parichart Court, the open-air courtyard at the hotel until December 26, 2013.  Proceeds from the company donations will go toward the ‘‘Children’s Cancer Fund’ patronized by HRH Princess Soamsawali under the auspices of the Quality Mother Foundation.
