Cold Drip Coffee at Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok

Guests who have a palate for more intense coffee flavour and smooth rich roast are invited to Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok’s Chocolate Boutique to indulge in Cold Drip Coffee. The coffee will be brewed all day and stored for guests.  Guests can drink it   frosted or with the ice on the side; it is served in a tall glass for those who prefer to put ice in it.  The hotel’s cold drip coffee goes through a process of filtration that takes more than three hours for one single glass of cold coffee by a Hunters Blend.

The hotel uses Arabica coffee from a local coffee provider from northern Thailand who joined hands with Chiang Mai NGO and the Integrated Development Programme (ITDP) to produce a coffee that gives guests the chance to experience a Thai Arabica lineage dating back to 1954.  Through the cooperation effort of His Majesty the King of Thailand’s Royal Highland Development Project, the Thai-UN Crop Replacement and Community Development Project and ITDP, the Arabica coffee cultivation was expanded as a way to displace opium production to improve the lives of the hill tribes through opportunity and sustainability.

Guests can sip the unique aroma and refreshing taste of Cold Drip Coffee, Iced White Coffee, Coconut Cold Café Latte and Cold Rose and Iced Blackberry Coffee in a vibrant boutique atmosphere for Bt 180++ per glass.
