The Oriental Hotel and Ambrose Wine Limited are delighted to present a Wine Lovers Château Lagrange wine dinner at Le Normandie, The Oriental Hotel, on Thursday, 13 March 2008 at 7.00 p.m. with well-known French winemaker Bruno Eynard who will introduce his Château Lagrange fine and rare vintage wines which will be served in this event. Talented resident Chef Carlos Gaudencio from Le Normandie will create an exclusive food pairing including : Mosaïque de Foie Gras de Canard et Cuisses Confits au Jambon de Bayonne (mosaic of duck foie gras duck confit and air dried bayonne ham); Hommard Breton Servi Tiède, Blanc Manger aux Pommes Reinette, Betteraves a Chuile de Piment dEspelette (just warm Boston lobster neinette apple blanc mange and beetroot beads with Espelette infused oil); Carré dAgneau Rôti, Fricassée de Champignons de Couche, Compoté de Lentilles vert de Puy (roast rack of prime free range lamb paired with a fricassee of day fresh mushrooms and puy lentils) and many many more. Bruno Eynard
In 1985 Bruno Eynard graduated at the ENITA (National Engineer School of Agricultural Techniques of Bordeaux) as an engineer and specialized in oenology. In 1987, he started his career as a master cellar in a Grande cru classé of Médoc. Then he joined Château Lagrange in 1990 as a Technical Manager. Bruno Eynard took over management of the Château from Marcel Ducasse in April 2007.
