French cuisine is one of the world’s most refined cuisines, with a kind of cooking that has inspired and influenced chefs through the ages.
During May 20 - 24, Dusit Thani Bangkok invites you to sample the very best of French cuisine with the “Printemps Gourmand’ a celebration of French Cuisine and the Arts.
The four-day culinary extravaganza, which celebrates French-Thailand relations through the showcase of fine French cuisine, will feature exquisite lunch, brunch and dinner menus by world renowned chefs, fabulous cocktail shows by expert mixologists, afternoon high tea with gourmet desserts, special cooking demonstrations, and an art exhibition.
Celebrity chef Jacques Pourcel, owner-chef of the 2 Michelin-starred Le Jardin des Sens in Montpellier, France, flying to Bangkok exclusively for the event. He will create a series of special lunch and dinner menus at D’Sens, together with Chef Philippe Keller and Chef Julien Lavigne and using the finest imported ingredients from France. Taking care of sweeter side are Executive Master Chef Fabrice Danniel and Chef Cédric Maton from Le Cordon Bleu Dusit Culinary School.
Meanwhile, renowned Shanghai bartender Sébastien Bonnefoi will team up with Dusit Thani Bangkok’s very own expert mixologist Surasak Pantaisong, winner of the “Best Bartender of Thailand Award 2008,” to create innovative cocktails and display breathtaking bottle juggling skills.
As an added bonus, the festival will include an art exhibition featuring Belgian-born artist, Christian Develter, who has an earned a reputation for presenting a kaleidoscope of shapes and forms in his works.
