SPA Cenvaree, the luxury spa brand within the Centara Hotels & Resorts group, is launching a range of Ayurveda and Yoga programmes available at its Bangkok, Hua Hin, Samui and Krabi properties from 1st of July 2009 onwards.
The Ayurvedic Wellness Programme ranges from three-hour balancing therapies to a full-day programme, with Ayurveda 60-minute and 90-minute treatments also available.
Centara resort locations offer treatment and accommodation packages ranging from one to three days and including herbal oils and daily massage treatments, healthy spa cuisine, and optional morning and evening meditative yoga.
Yoga programmes are offered at all Centara properties in the four destinations.
Ayurveda is the 5,000-year-old science of healthcare originating in India and now practised all over the world as a form of alternative medicine, using herbs, massage and yoga amongst its various techniques.
SPA Cenvaree signature Ayurvedic therapies include Shirodhara, which involves gently pouring liquids over the forehead, the location of the “third eye”; Shirobhyanga, a form of head massage; and Marma Abhyanga, an energising massage of the marma points, or specific energy centres, that stimulates the circulatory, immune and nervous systems.
Prices of SPA Cenvaree’s Ayurveda and Yoga programmes range from Baht 895++ to Baht 2495++.
