Phu Pra Bat Ruins from the Ice Age.

Imagine of where to escape from the hectic city, most people would think of a wonderful sandy beach where you will be relaxed and surrounded by a nice breeze. Not so many people would think of Isan as their destination.

I don’t know why currently many people I met are either from or going to Udon Thani. Maybe I’ve been hanging out with many expat with Thai wives. Udon Thani, a large province in the northeastern part of Thailand, is a prime center of Isan for transportation and tourism. In the past, this province had been transformed from a quiet town into a center for American military base during Vietnam War. Udon Thani contains a prehistoric site of Ban Chiang culture, a world heritage site, and many natural attractions.

This month update we discover a very unique place in Udon Thani, Phu Phra Bat Historical Park. The amazing land formation with a bit of human touch will make you wonder how it all happened. Once in Udon, we notice a local delicacy that we’ve got from our neighbor country.

Nam-Noeng well known as a Vietnamese delicacy that has been accepted as a local dish believe it or not, find out why. Since we were so close, during our trip at Phu Phra Bat we decided to visit Vientiane.

To see Phra That Luang, the main temple of the Laos capital, You can call it Wat Phra Keaw of Laos. While we were there we had a chance to walk under the Gate of Triumphs, Loas.
See the fortress like architecture with a nice park surrounding it.

We also had a chance to witness the new concept for organizing events, venue driven to make a memorable experience. The Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok is providing an Outside Catering Service see this event in the aquarium at Siam Ocean World.

Then, enjoy the innovative Thai cuisine
"Thai Tapas" at the Galz Bar, Plaza Athenee Bangkok.. Created to perfectly match with Thai wine from Monsoon Valley to enchance your culinary experience
