The Body Shop Organizes Award Presentation Night
 
On the evening of August 15th, at the Central Court, 1st Floor, Central World Plaza, The Body Shop organized “The Body Shop Wise Women Awards” presentation and also introduced its latest premium skin care product “Wise Women” to help revitalize skin and reduce aging wrinkles. Awards were given to women who dedicated their works to improve social welfare of the people. Votes were received from the public under five main categories according to the Body Shop’s business philosophy.

Earth Care Company Limited, the distributor of environmentally friendly beauty products of The Body Shop, organized “The Body Shop Wise Women Awards” presentation night to introduce seven types of its latest premium class products under the product group “Wise Women”. Wise Women is highly effectively in reducing aging wrinkles and treating dull-looking skin with a range of natural ingredients including Red Clover, Wild Yam, Starflower oil and Soya Oil. These ingredients helps nourish skin and add firmness, making it smooth and healthy.

The Body Shop believes that real women’s beauty comes from within and note just by the external grooming. To mark the official launch of Wise Women, “The Body Shop Wise Women Awards” were presented to those who have worked to help improve social well being of the people. These women are publicly recognized and accepted for their dedication since they have become the public idols for the ways they lead their lives or that their works match the Body Shop’s five business philosophy.
Dr. Saranarath Kanjanavanich, Project Director and Secretary of Green World Foundation, was voted for the award under the Against Animal Testing category. Khun Nualnoi Timkul, the founder of Baan Kru Noi which has been established to help provide education opportunity for underprivileged children, was awarded under the Support Community Trade category. Dr. Khunying Porntip Rojanasunant, Deputy Director and Acting Director of Forensic Science Institution, Ministry of Justice, was awarded for her works under the Defend Human Rights category. The Activate Self Esteem award was presented to Khun Areewan Jatutong (Ouan), freelance lawyer and second runner-up Miss Thailand 1994, and the Protect Our Planet award was given to Khun Niramol Metheesuwakul, President of Pah Yai Creation Company Limited.
