Chevrolet Develops Thai Education

 
Mr. Stephen Carlisle (fourth from left), President of General Motors Southeast Asia Operations and Thailand, General Motors Asia Pacific, Chakkrapong Thangpromphan (fourth from right), Managing Director, KAS Automobile Co., Ltd. and Viriya Pholpoke Director, Pico (Thailand) Plc. present the “Chevrolet Develops Thai Education” Library with books and educational materials to Hua Hin Ratbamrung School in Huaymek, Kalasin as part of the “Chevrolet Develops Thai Education” program. Receiving the donation are Sirisak Pinyopanuwat (third from left), Huaymek District Officer, Thanasith Chaisrima, Deputy Director of Education District, and Siripong Kam-arj, School Director.
“Building libraries is just one of the ways General Motors and Chevrolet support Thai education. Previously, Chevrolet contributed 1 million baht in “Chevrolet Develops Thai Education” scholarships to 50 schools nationwide and donated 7.5 million baht for “Chevrolet Develops Thai Education” libraries in remote provinces nationwide. We also support the 55 million baht Automotive Service Educational Program (ASEP), which benefits vocational colleges in each region,” said Mr. Carlisle. “As a partner in Thailand, our commitment goes beyond just providing employment or producing and selling safe and high-quality vehicles. Our contributions to Thai education reflect the core value of General Motors Thailand and Chevrolet Sales Thailand and our commitment to the communities in which we live and work.”
