Men's Health Guy's Challenge

 
Bangkok October 25, 2007: The Thai edition of Men’s Health magazine, the thorough guidebook for trendy men, throws a fantastic party to celebrate the very first anniversary with the presentation of the participants in “Men’s Healthy Guy’s Challenge Awards” (MHGC) which is the project that seeks for the perfect guy in term of both body and mind. This year’s competition bares the concept of “From Zero to Hero”. The party takes place on the 45th Floor of The Offices at CentralWorld.

Nitra Kitiyakara na Ayudhaya, Executive Editor of Men’s Health Thailand, published by Blue Inc Media (Thailand) Co, revealed about the objective of this Men’s Health Guy’s Challenge project that the project selects representative guys in the age range of 22-40 from all walks of life who would like to transform themselves to achieve greater in terms of health, body, mind and social. These ten selected guys require to participate in the exercise and healthcare campaign, as well as are educated with all genres regarding being a perfect gentleman. These training sections kicked off since June and ran until October.
“The main goal of this function being the great desire of Men’s Health Thailand to deliver the message that whoever you are, you could be perfect at both body and mind if you start taking good care of yourself today. Reckoning the concept of From Zero to Hero, the ten selected guys would be trained to be fit and firm with nutritious campaign, plus attended the course to look after themselves from the complexion, hair style, clothes as well as perspective in life.

Through the four months of grooming from June 26 until October 25, the attendants were trained by the top quality staff from Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital in healthcare and cholesterol controlling scheme, apart from many other health relates issues. The Revitalite on Soi Ruamrudee also joined force in shaping them the new personas with new perspective on healthy living.
Moreover, they were also trained by Fitness First with the correct exercise practices that led to the full stream of exercising all through this period of four months. Fairtex be Inspired also welcomed the selected ten guys at its Pattaya site for the Thai boxing sections with the skilful instructors as well as challenging activities. Zen also gave them a go for the model trial section on catwalk.

In addition, Aster Spring also joined the campaign in suggesting the tips to nurturing their skin and hair by the experts. Durex invited Dr. Pansak Sugkraroek and Chollada Mekratree to convey the new aspects of thorough understanding towards men and women relationship. Jacob’s Creek by Jitrayus Osthanonda prepared the wine tasting techniques while Toni&Guy transformed their appearances by the professional hair stylists.

The vote that could possibly stimulate the ten guys’ anxiety is divided into two categories: 50% vote from the public and the rest from the evaluators. The public vote was done through SMS, website, vote card from Fitness First and the coupon from the magazine. The participation of this “Men’s Health Guy’s Challenge” was announced also through True Corporation and the blog on the internet of these ten selected guys for all readers of Men’s Health magazine to closely monitor and choose their favorite. The vote for this genre was done through TrueLife Microsite at http://mhguyschallenge.truelife.com. The vote card from 13 branches of Fitness First was also counted as well as from the coupon that attached in the magazine. There will also be the award presentation to voter in each category, too.

Apart from the public vote, main scores are also given by evaluators from many professions i.e. Nitra Kitiyakara na Ayudhaya, Executive Editor of Men’s Health Thailand; Rakchart Ornchan, National Fitness Manager from Fitness First; Jate Hemchayart, Vice President of True Corporation; Dom Hetrakul, renowned actor, MC and businessman; Prem Bussarakamwong, Marketing Director of Fairtex Sports Club & Hotel; and VJ Ja-Nuthaveeranuch Thongmee. The criteria for this competition base on the revolution and development of the perfect guy in terms of body and health, balanced mind, dressing style, wit and ability to solve problems at hand, enthusiasm on every aspect in the surrounding, particularly in the society. Only one who is most qualified for all those criteria would be awarded Men’s Health Guy Award 2007.

The awards are categorized as Men’s Health Guy Award, Cool Guy Award, Popular Guy Award by Thai Air Asia and the special prizes from the supporters i.e. The Healthiest Skin by Aster Spring, Sophisticated Gentleman by Jacob’s Creek and The Healthiest Guy by Samitivej

The ambience of the first anniversary party of Men’s Health Thailand is sure to be a very happening with the highlight on the awards presentation of “Men’s Health Guys’ Challenge Awards 2007” (MHGC) to the 10 selected guys that everyone could not wait to get to know the result. Celebrities also make their ways to cruise through the function i.e. Michele Waagaard, sexy model; Robert Chavakij Boughey, the car racer in Thai national team; Ping Lampraphueng and Pratya Pinkaew – the two renowned film directors, for example.
