Thailand is society gather as Intercontinental Bangkok opens all
 
InterContinental Bangkok, the city’s premier hotel for meetings, events and business travel, following the completion of the first phase of an extensive US$20 million refurbishment program unveiled on November 6, 2007 a totally renovated, redesigned InterContinental Convention Centre with the latest state-of-the-art audio & visual technology.
The fourth floor InterContinental Convention Centre underwent a major transformation, with US$4 million dedicated to technological enhancements creating Bangkok’s most state-of-the-art venue with Category-6 communications technology and customized lighting. The Grand Ballroom has three built-in digital video cameras to facilitate live video streaming, intelligent lighting allows the projection of up to 16 million colors, remote controlled pin spotlights and chiffon columns with custom back-lighting. The entire ceiling’s loading points have also been increased to facilitate the display of heavy exhibits.
In addition to the technology enhancements, the entire fourth floor, including the Grand Ballroom, Pinnacle Hall, President rooms, and foyer areas all received a complete renovation. Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Exhibitions (MICE) clients will enjoy contemporary comfortable furniture, modern banquet equipment, and a warm accommodating décor.
Other highlights at the InterContinental Convention Centre include personalized service from the hotel’s dedicated Conference Concierge team and a complimentary Events Café for freshly made espresso, tea and snacks.
