One of the greatest things in life is to find something new, New friends, new places to hang out, new books, new movies, new music, new resorts to go to. We found one very new and quite hidden. The Supalai Resort &Spa Phuket is one of them. Supalai is a name you might be familiar to, if you are looking for a house or a condo in Bangkok. Yes they are a big real estate company in the big mango. The new resort is situated in Ao Por, a very quiet and peaceful part of Phuket on the eastern side. It is one of the first few resort to settle in this area. It takes about 15 minutes drive from the Phuket International airport.
Located at a quiet area of the island surrounded by mature trees and with the earth tone color of the north and south wings makes the resort blend in with the charming surrounding. The resort is set on a steep hillside slope facing the ocean and single corridor planning ensures that most of the rooms have a fabulous panoramic sea view. As impressive as those Southern Thai style architecture, the lobby of this beautiful resort will definitely catch all visitors' eyes as there are very elegant two-stories pools and the stunning panoramic view surrounded by, warm ambiance is a plus.
Room types
Amidst the rich nature, Best Western Premier Supalai Resort & Spa--the exotic resort of Andaman-- provides a wide range of accommodations, warm services, and good facilities. There are both stylish rooms and well-decorated pool villas for visitors to choose. The Deluxe Sea view has a window side daybed that can serve a kids bed. The Deluxe Sea view and Super Deluxe Sea view are similar but the super has a larger balcony with outside seating. The Grand Deluxe Sea view is on the corner with more windows and more spacious. Staying here, you can enjoy the perfect surroundings of the island even while relaxing in your bathtub. The Poolside Villas are beautifully decorated with large living and sleeping space. Room rates are between 3,500 -9,000 baht depending on the room type and high low season. If you want total privacy Pool Villas with 3-4 bed room are available. Think of it as your own house with five star services. The rates are higher starting at 20,000 baht but it is for 6 people. The Pool Villas are also for sale with profit sharing options price starts at 18 million baht.

In the area of Ao Por many interesting islands which you can explore by sea kayak or a hired long tail boat which can take you farther. Also the fisher farm can be interesting. Due to the nature and views, this area is becoming a popular location to new 5 star resorts. There are 3 that are being under construction now.
Restaurants
The Pano restaurant, located 1 floor below the lobby. Offers breath taking views of Ao Por and a wide varietie of food from Thai to western. The Thai food here a made to suite the Thai taste, if you want original Thai food this is where to have it. Don't worry the staff will ask you your preference on the spice level. The Ingredients are really fresh to ensure great seafood. The chef also cooks a really nice steak. Who can deny a nice steak on a relaxed day? I wouldn't.

Sand and Sea , another restaurant here set on the beach. Just a short walk down hill you can enjoy the casual open air ambiance with thatch roof. The specialties here are from the grills and barbeque.
Sundaree Spa, the name meaning pleasure. Be pleasured by well trained therapist with views of the pool and sea or enclosed environment for the relaxation privacy.

To have an excellent and perfect holiday does not necessarily mean to travel around the city to experience all kinds place. Why ruining your holiday by doing things to exhaust yourself while you could relax with peace and nature here. This tranquil beach resort is not only a good choice for visitors who prefer private-life, but it is also for those who enjoy resting among the beautiful and prosperous nature.
