New Executive Chef at Renaissance Koh amui Resort & Spa

 
Samui – January, 2008 – Santiago Sagaz, General Manager of Renaissance Koh Samui Resort & Spa, is pleased to announce the promotion of Somkiet Saithong as Executive Chef.

A native Thai, Chef Somkiet brings more than 15 years' experience to this position. He has been with the resort since May 2007 when he was first assigned as Executive Sous Chef. His past experience includes serving as Senior Sous Chef at the award-winning JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa, and Chef de Partie at Banyan Tree Phuket Resort & Spa. In addition, his immense culinary skill made this talented chef become a guest chef in several leading Marriott properties worldwide including Marriott Cebu City, Philippine, JW Marriott Jakata, Indonesia, and Marriott Lisbon, Portugal.

In his new role, Chef Somkiet will be in charge of the resort kitchen operations. He and his fabulous team look forward to presenting an innovative range of cuisine options at Renaissance Koh Samui Resort & Spa
