Looking for a room with a view of the beach in Hua-Hin? Look nowhere else the Hilton Resort and Spa is your best bet. Just by observing the building from outside you know any room there would have a sea view.
Hua hin is more like a city + beach not beach only destination. Plus it is set on a pretty flat land especially alongside the beach so getting a nice room with sea view is difficult. If you’ve been to Hua-Hin it is hard to miss, the Hilton Resort and Spa, it is one of the taller beach side resorts in center of the town. This means you have an elevated view of the sea and the city. That would be one of my preferences, to have a nice room with great views and spend some time in it. That is what you pay for. We had a chance to stay at one of the suite the Sukhothai Suite. At 250 sq.m.( 26,800 /night rates change seasonally). It is as large as a house a perfect size for a 4-5 person family. We were there in November the beginning of hi-season the weather was chilly and a bit windy, a nice change from the rain that just almost ended in October. The nice weather provided us to make use of the large terrace with views of the pool and the sea. If you stay in a suite or on the executive floors, you have privilege to use the club lounge on the 17th floor where you can have breakfast without the crowd or afternoon tea with cakes and even evening cocktails with snacks all included with the suite. There are five types of suites ranging from loft size to double floor mansions. The Chakri Suite the largest is 450 sq.m. covers 2 floors that can accommodate 3 families.
The standard and deluxe rooms here are very spacious, the rooms are 42 sq.m., with a nice balcony. They are in process of upgrading the rooms with news bath rooms with open bath tubes, and replacing 25 tvs with plasmas. You might already have known this; Hua Hin is one of the most popular weekend getaways from Bangkok. And the Hilton Hua Hin is almost fully book every weekend, so walking in for a room is not a wise choice. We had to book our Sukhothai Suite months ahead.
Location is one of the most convenient if you like to walk because it is right in the center of Hua Hin. So getting to outside restaurants, shopping, and nightlife are just in walking distance.
Activities
The pool is a free form shape with bridges, sliders, bar and an island with over flow waterfalls. Looking at the complexity of it is striking. There are many type of seating mostly pool side benches; there are some seaside benches and shady garden benches with views of the pool and sea. You can also have a massage ordered from the Spa in the garden gazebos.

The Hilton Huahin Resort and Spa is a great weekend gataway, not too far from Bangkok for the whole family.
