Normally, we will recommend only places that are worth visiting, but this time we present one that has both strengths and weaknesses. We believe in providing our readers with a variety of choices and pointing out the good and bad, so you can decide for your own if it is the right place for you.

All Senses is an old converted house, located in Sukhumvit Soi 51, a street with various kinds of dining venues. Walking distance from BTS Thong Loh is about 300 meters, not too far to walk but not too close as well.
For our first impressions, a small garden and small parking space. But once inside there are many variety of spaces to choose whether a private room with balcony linked to a pond, an indoor dining corner accompanied with sound of easy music, or an outdoor dining zone decorated with chic garden. It is a place for groups of friend, couples and families to come for chitchatting and spending time together.

The interior of 75 years old house does not much change, just well maintained with new dining tables and chairs, making this place look and feel like you are in someone's house, which can be charming and at the same time awkward if the staffs don't know how to welcome you.
On our visit we did not stay and try too much of the dishes because the service is unbearable but it seems like the chef was doing his job. Most of menus here are Thai-American style. Japanese and Italian food are also provided. 350 Baht per dish, the Mussel tossed in Black Pepper Sauce is worth a try if it was served hot. We had no chance to meet chef. Just heard that he is a thai living and working in Boston and had spent time for years making Thai dishes for foreigners.

The ambiance is interesting, the food seems promising, the service is mediocre but the management is none existent. For a new restaurant that has just opened, we can forgive about the service but not wanna be management that have only waiter experiences. it is one of the places to try your luck, but the odds are very low.
