Grand Opening "Tomyam Pladib" Exhibition

 
H.E. Mr. Hideaki Kobayashi (2nd from left), Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Kingdom of Thailand, graciously presided over at the grand opening of “Tomyam Pladib” exhibition at the Jim Thompson Art Center. In addition, Mr. Takeji Yoshikawa (1st from left), Executive Director of the Southeast Asian Bureau/ Director General of The Japan Foundation Bangkok, was honorably present with a welcome from Professor William J. Klausner (2nd from right), President of the James H.W. Thompson Foundation and Ms Gridthiya Gaweewong (1st from right), the exhibition curator and the Artistic Director of the Jim Thompson Art Center.

Held by the Jim Thompson Art Center and Japan Foundation, “Tomyam Pladib exhibition displays various styles of art works of outstanding Thai and Japanese artists, such as video art, textile and fashion etc. The exhibition opens to public from now to June 5, 2008, free of charge, at the Jim Thompson Art Center.
