BANYAN TREE BKK APPOINTED GM
 
Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. George Koumendakos as the new General Manager of the Banyan Tree Bangkok. In his role, Mr. Koumendakos will be responsible for all hotel operations.
A rising young Dutch hotelier, Mr. Koumendakos’s career began at the London Hilton on Park Lane, and has brought him to locations as diverse as Canada, the Philippines, Northern Ireland, the Netherlands and Saudi Arabia. Prior to his appointment he served as General Manager at the Crowne Plaza Bahrain.
He holds a Bachelor degree of Hotel Business Administration from the Hotel School, The Hague in the Netherlands and is fluent in Dutch, German and English.
