Extreme geographical features of Krabi make this trip to Centara Hotel and Resort impressive. Despite the location nearby the national park and thriving beaches like Ao Nang and Klong Muang, getting to the resort is quite an adventure. It is located on the other side of the coast where the road doesn't reach. So, there are the choices between a 15-minute walk round the cliffs or the boat ride from the resort lobby at Ao Nang. The resort shuttle can get us to the two piers for the boat ride there: one at Ao Nang and the other at Noparattara beach. When the serge is strong (usually in rainy reason), you will have to catch the boat at Nopparattara beach and when it's not the access via the pier at Ao Nang is available
Considering such a long walk, we decided to catch the boat to our destination. But if you love to survey the scenic view along the way, a walk can be your pleasant alternative. You will have the staffs tag along assisting you with the luggage all the way to the hotel. At the resort arrival, there is a long jetty floating along linking the pier to the resort. It is very thrilling trying to get ourselves to the shore because the jetty bounces up and down along the waves.
There are a lot of activities to do during the stay at the resort: spending time at the beach side pool, windsurfing, canoing, scuba and skin diving as well as a tour around Krabi's five islands. To get in town is easy, there is the resort shuttle boat to Nopparattara beach which departs every 15 minutes.

With mountains at the back and water at front, the resort location is considered as the best Feng-Shui locations as well as spectacular and unique location. There are three main room types: deluxe; premium; and spa deluxe on the sloppy hill which are considered minisuites compared to standard resort room. All the room types are elevated to the ocean view with the spa deluxe at the top with premium and deluxe at the lower level. Each unit has many functional areas: the terrace with the outdoor lounge area plus the resting bench. The indoor air-conditioned area is where the bed and bathrooms are with wooden decor and spacious space with perfect lighting.
One of the resort facilities is the Cenvaree spa located at the spa and fitness unit on the hill. Its resting lounge after the therapy is chic with the small pool at the terrace to the ocean view. The spa package is good for skin remedy after the sun burn on the beach. Many spa therapies are foot massage, scrub, Jacuzzi bathing and oil massage and etc!

The spacious and well designed rooms with spectacular ocean views make our stay in Centara a real pleasure. With nice service and hospitality from smiling staffs from the arrival till departure, this small paradise is where we will definitely come back again!
