Oasis Spa won TAT Most Excellent Day Spa Award 2008

 
Pakin Ployphicha, President of The Oasis Spa (Thailand) recently received The Award of Excellence for Thailand Day Spas officially presented by H.E. Mr. Weerasak Kowsurat, Minister of Tourism and Sports. The announcement was made by the Tourism Authority of Thailand at Centara Grand Hotel Bangkok.

Oasis Spa with its Lanna Identity is a trend setter in Thailand's Day Spa industry. It has provided health and well-being to very nearly 100,000 tourists both Thai and Foreigners in its 5 years of operation. Aside from the already established branches in Chiangmai, Bangkok and Pattaya, Oasis Spa aims to carry its brand to all major tourist destinations in Thailand.

Employment for more than 170 local people has been created by Oasis Spa. All Oasis Spa Therapists undergo intensive training from its in-house Academy in Chiangmai in order to maintain Oasis Standard. Other areas of employee development include Customer Service skills and Foreign Languages training. Oasis Spa developed its own Customer Management System, a Day Spa Program ™ to monitor Customer Satisfaction, Appointments, Marketing and Back Office. Oasis Spa's strategy involves value creation, branding, efficiency, leadership and team building, and social responsibility. This Thailand Tourism Award marks the third award for outstanding performance with 2 other prestigious awards received in 2007: Prime Minister's Award for Most Recognized Spa Service by Foreign Patrons and SMEs Best Brand Award.

Thailand Tourism Awards 2008 Thailand's 'Hallmark of Excellence' a symbol of the outstanding quality and reliability of tourism products and services offered by a business organization, operator or community. This distinguished award recognizes the finest achievements and excellent contribution to Thai tourism. It honors innovation, company management, standard of service and creativity in the fields of sustainable tourism, conservation of the country cultural resources and corporate social responsibility.
