Twisted. In a sense, meaning the state being abnormal or unusual. Under the context "Night Life," my own interpretation would be getting out of control from having so much fun from the ambiance and the amount of alcohol you can consume to let yourself out of control.

For night owls in sleepless Bangkok, they can tell another meaning of "Twisted". It's the name for an upscale night life venue with interactive tables, hi-end audio system, and imported DJs that make this place unique among its kind. Located on Sukhumvit 11 nearby Nana BTS station, very close to Beds and Qbar. The venue operates from 9.30pm till 3am. We arrived at about almost 10 when the place was still quite empty so we got a chance to observe around.
This 2-level venue can accommodate up to 700 people. It is equipped with a cool laser system very popular in the 80s, DJ station, illuminating bars on both level, VIP tables with Motion Sensitive Effects where you can have interaction with images displayed on the tables as well as the staircase by the ceiling-high glass wall with glimmering water.
The zone provides tables and the glowing bar. The upstairs terrace over the dance floor is where you can observe the pool of people dancing near the DJs mixing many tunes from house, funk, R&B, hip hop, and electro that changes every night. Thursday night was when we visited when it hosted by the featured DJs from 4DUB scratching their blazing hip hop beat.

Twisted offersMonday-Thursday ladies nights with five free drinks. So girls will definitely fall in love with this place. It was ladies night when we came by. So everywhere you turned, you'd see more LADIES than men. Many guys came too. Probably to see these beautiful ladies.
What caught my attention was the -14 Celsius ice room with solid ice Vodka bar on the second floor. The entrance is free while the vodka is charged per shot. There were various flavors of chilled vodka for your selection. I wasn't so sure if it was an extreme cold temperature or my own interested in vodka (maybe the latter) that made me tried like half of all kinds. This gave quite a new experience of vodka tasting.

Apart from ladies night and ice bar or the fact that it opens till late, it is one of the few places where smoking is allowed. If you miss those days smoking in the club, you can come and enjoy this place.

It was getting late and I was ordering more and more drinks. The place was now filled with people. I could see them dance along with the music and change the colors from the laser flashing all over the place. I kept drinking and drinking waiting to see other people being twisted. The next thing I know it turned out that I was the one who was twisted!
Now this venue has changed to the Australian pub & BBQ
