If you prefer lunch with more pleasure during your busy workdays, restaurants in hotel venues can be fine choices because it provides sophisticated and lovely atmosphere. If you are around Bangkok's busy Sathorn road, there's Banyan Tree's Romsai as one of your alternatives.

The stairway from the hotel lobby leads to the newly renovated Romsai located on the ground floor. The 2-storey high glass wall permits the perfect natural light to the venue where guests can observe the scenic garden and waterfall from inside. The garden can be accessed from the restaurant. It also serves as the smoking area and for relaxation with tables and chairs by the pool.

The dining area can be divided into two zones: inside and semi al-fresco. The semi al-fresco area is more spacious with 2-level high ceiling close to the glass wall. There are comfortable seats by the glass wall which are separated by the tall glass. The hanging red lanterns contrast to the venue's beige and earth tone decoration making Romsai elegant and chic at the same time.
The venue offers all day buffet for international cuisine and dessert. There are 5 main stations serving different menus. There is the counter serving appetizers, salad, fresh seafood and meat which customers can pick for their Teppanyaki stake cooked and the nearby cooking station where food is prepared in front of guests. It offers from Thai Gang Jued, Chinese roasted duck, Italian Pastas to Western beef stake. The bread counter is set nearby.
For those who love Japanese food, there's sushi and sashimi counter where you can order maki and temaki menu as well. After the main course, there are many kinds of dessert served such as ice cream, cakes, cookies, pastry, longan sticky rice, etc.

The lunch at Romsai gives us quite a pleasant from the verdant garden of banyan tree and waterfall. It's one of an ideal place if you want to escape from city's busy life. You surely will get back to work in a good mood!
