Urban Retreat Spa has two locations; one is located at BTS Prompong opposite the Emporium shopping complex. The second one is in soi Sukhumvit 39 on sub soi Promchai. We had the chance to visit the Soi Promchai branch which is a neat small cosy town house like building surrounded by high end houses, luxury condos, and japanese bars.

We were advised to try the signature treatment "Urban Touch" which combined 3 massage techniques; Maldives, Ayurveda and Indonesian, designed by Khun Fai and her sisters (the owner). Three aromas oils were presented Lemongrass; freshness, Peppermint; energetic and Lavender Rosewood; relaxed. The editor selected Peppermint. I selected Lavender Rosewood. "Urban Touch" is a well designed and unique treatment, the difference from this treatment to other aroma treatments is the using of heated oil giving a pleasing sensation to the massage. Followed by continuous movement from foot to shoulder. It is combination of mild treatment and strong pressure to aching muscles. My therapists was Khun Fah, she has very skilled hands. My editor's therapists Khun Tik also was providing a great treatment. The therapists made us losted into the world of relaxation and left us refreshed and energetic. And the price was very reasonable.
