Lately, we had a chance to visit a newly renovated spa, after its' opening 10 years ago. Adapted from an old house, Being spa is located on Sukhumvit between Soi 49 and 51.

Inside the spa, the aromatic scent of camphor gave an energetic feeling. It is a combination of Thai, and mixture of other Asian decor.. The colorful walls, windows, and beautifully crafted iron doors, show a unique identity of this place.Walking along the lotus pond to the treatment rooms is a nice experience. There are 11 treatments room which facilitate many treatments such as seaweed bath, and Jacuzzi with Chromo therapy.

We received a warm welcome from Khun Kwan, the assistance spa manager. She recommended the signature treatment “Being Spa Ultimate Body Massage” and “Being Spa Aroma Body Scrub”. I selected the first one. Khun Kaew, my therapist, started the treatment from the legs up to the back and to the shoulders, which was really nice. The last step is a hot towel on the forehead and a strong head massage. For me it's a bit too strong. After the 60-minutes massage I felt relaxed. At the same time, my friend tried 30-minutes Being Spa Aroma Body Scrub, and followed by 30-minutes Being Spa Ultimate Body Massage. Her therapist, Khun Tan, applied "Thai herbal cream" a mixture of peppermint and other secret ingredients. After that, she received the massage. She usually prefers a strong hard massage, but this treatment was a mild one. But she was pleased with the soft touch which made her felt relaxed and refresh.

After we finished, they offered us scented peach and watermelon hot tea. We both were impressed with polite and friendly therapist and staff there.
