Black is a sophisticated club and dance hall of the Sheraton Hua Hin Resort and Spa. The inside of this club is decorated in dark tones. A large cylindrical shape chandelier is displayed prominently in the top center of the dance floor. Instead of a disco ball, there are mosaic mirrors tiled to the cylindrical shaped columns reflecting the varieties of lights sources that brighten ups this dark room. The colorful lighting that changes continuously provides an interesting ambiance. Apart from the high stool seating there are beds hidden in the hard to reach corners. The club usually play international beats and sometimes local beats.
The night we were there, there was a special featured show “Mai on Stage” a live concert by Khun Mai Chareonpura. She was a very popular singer. It is a rare opportunity to see a diva like Mai performs on stage lately. This performance is for privileged guests only, so we got a chance to meet and greet Mai personally. Even Her Royal Highness Princess Srirat, Royal Consort to HRH the Crown Prince of Thailand came to see this concert. Many fans (mostly female fans) came to see her perform their favorite song. The performance made the crowd happy with smiles and sweat(from the dancing). The costume she wore and the moves she did reminded us of Tina Turner.
