Chef Pairoj Kaoropwongchai as a new Executive Thai Chef at White Elephant

JW Marriott Bangkok was recently appointed Chef Pairoj Kaoropwongchai as a new Executive Thai Chef at White Elephant – Thai Restaurant.
Chef Pairoj’s last working place was Jakarta where he worked for the Thai Elephant Restaurant at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Furthermore, he joined with, Angsana City Club, in Taiwan and Jittlada Thai Cuisine in Indonesia. He also was the Thai Chef de Cuisine at Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa.

Manish has been a valued member of the Anantara family since January 2006 where he was part of the pre opening teams for Anantara Resort in the Maldives and Naladhu Resort also in the Maldives. Starting as Assistant Food and Beverage Manager for both resorts, Manish worked his way up to Director of Food and Beverage before being promoted to Resort Manager of Anantara Dhigu Resort and Spa and Anantara Veli Resort & Spa, a position he held for two years. During that time he  oversaw the resorts superior quality service and outstanding operational standards.


A keen volleyball player and cricketer Manish graduated with a Diploma in Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition from the Institute of Hotel Management in Gwalior, India. He brings to Anantara over ten years experience from working in the hospitality industry  and before joining Anantara he worked in various managerial positions at leading resorts in the Maldives such as Taj Exotica Resort and Spa and One & Only, Kanuhura overseeing their food and beverage operations.
