The Grand Sukhumvit is one of the hotels that is below the radar, because of the area it is located on is in a quiet neighborhood not many people pass by. But it is so centrally located you’d be surprised how close it is to the BTS and the lower Sukhumvit attractions. Just a couple of steps away is the Nana nightlife/restaurants and the Sukhumvit street shops. Apart from the location, the property offers spacious and nicely furnished rooms, some with wonderful views of the Bangkok skyline.

After the check-in, we were escort to the spacious Platinum suite, with 54 square meters, the suite has a kitchen and a separated bed room. The kitchen comes with a large refrigerator, a microwave stove and all kitchenware. There are two 32” flat screen TVs, one in the living room and one in the bedroom with many premium cable channels and good reception. What I like about the suite is the views in our room is over looking the Wireless road, Ploenchit Chitlom area and lower Sukhumvit but it does come with a draw back. The windows are wide but it starts a 90 cm above the floor so you won’t be able to enjoy it while seating on the coach or in the bed.
