For one week, from September 24 until September 30, 2010 the air of Koh Samui will be filled with Jazz music during the International Samui Jazz Festival. International and Thai artist will present their musical talent on this beautiful, tropical island while performing in various selected and exceptional locations.  The list of artists includes recognized international musicians such as Peter Beets, Saskia Laroo, Renske Taminiau, Alexander Beets as well as over 100 Thai musicians who will perform on stages in 3 areas of Samui with all concerts being free to the public. The Samui Jazz festival is organized annually and has its origin in the successful Samui Jazz Series, which were held once per month during the previous years. When asked about the main objectives of the Samui International Jazz Music Festival Mr. Santi, the Festival Director commented: It is our vision to bringing the joy of Jazz Music to this fabulous location while inspiring talented Thai Jazz musicians when performing with international artists.

Through the International Samui Jazz festival Koh Samui will continue to stand out as Thailand's tourism destination of choice. The Samui International Jazz Music Festival 2010 is brought to you by Amsiam travel in cooperation with Bangkok Airways together with its main sponsors the Suratthani Provincial Administrative, the Thai Hotels Association (THA) and the Tourism Association of Koh Samui.
