The 11th World Gourmet Festival 
Hosted by Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok
Culminated with a Resounding Success


 

Bangkok – September, 2010 – If history repeats itself, the World Gourmet Festival on its 11th year this year hosted by Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok, was once again a resounding success.  The Hotel proved once again to the hospitality industry and the gourmands in and around Thailand and other parts of the world that its annual World Gourmet Festival, a weeklong gastronomic odyssey is an event worth attending.  The Sunday Buffet Afternoon Tea in The Lobby with sweets and pastries prepared by Chef Gale Gand plus the Sunday Brunch at three of the hotel’s eclectic restaurants, Madison Spice Market and Aqua, and the Scent Dinner by Chandler Burr culminated the weeklong event. 

The gastronomic journey showcased a sizzling selection of award-winning international chefs including chefs from Michelin star restaurants, such as Douglas Keane, Daniel Chambon, Alvin Leung, Anthony Demetre, Brent Savage, Matteo Vigotti, Alejandro Digilio and Chandler Burr, the New York Times’ Perfume Critic who prepared  outstanding food paired with premium wines, and cooking demonstrations plus the world’s finest culinary purveyors.

The usual kick off on its opening night was held with an exclusive cocktail reception graciously attended by HRH Princess Soamsawali together with the participating chefs, principal sponsors and official partners.

HRH Princess Soamsawali’s “Save A Child’s Life from AIDS Project” will be the recipient of the silent auction plus Baht 100 from every ticket sold during the weeklong event.
