ONYX Hospitality Group recently announced the appointment of Thaveerut Charupatanapong as Executive Vice President, Finance & Chief Financial Officer.  

 

Prior to joining ONYX, Thaveerut was Vice President, International Finance for Minor International. In this role, she set up the financial and IT policies and procedures for the group’s international business units and directed a team of operationally-based financial controllers.   

 

A Thai national, Thaveerut began her career in Bangkok at Thai Nakarin Hospital where she established the facility’s financial and IT units. Thaveerut brings along over 20 years of experience that includes a variety of senior management roles in numerous Thai and multi-national companies based in Bangkok including Central Group of Hotels, Natural Park Plc, Starwood Hotels and Resorts and McDonald’s Thailand.  

 

In her new role at ONYX Hospitality Group, Thaveerut will be responsible for executive management and oversight of ONYX’s financial infrastructure and operations to gear up for the expansion of the group as well as for the successful implementation of ONYX’s financial strategies and plans to ensure the delivery of optimum business results.
