Sheraton Hua Hin revisit

Address:1573 Petchkasem Road, Cha-Am, Petchburi 76120 Thailand +66(0)32708000 Text/photo: Vasin Srivarathanabul

We’ve been here before(previous review), but this time it was on a week day. It’s a more relaxed ambiance, less people also this time we got the pool access rooms, which gives a totally different experience.

The Sheraton Hua Hin is set by the beach right off Petchkasem road between Cha-am and Hua Hin. It is closer to Hua Hin about 10 minutes drive. Small two story buildings form a large courtyard. In the courtyard a garden with pathways, gazebo, beach benches and a gigantic pool runs along side all the buildings. Providing rooms facing the courtyard with views of the pool or pool access.

The pool is the main feature of this resort. It is multi level with water screens, water tunnel, fountains, water fall. On the weekend when the resort is pretty full, there is still there is room for everyone to enjoy the pool. On the weekday, it’s like having the pool all for yourself. At the very end close to the beach is an infinity edge.

Apart from the pool is the Beach, kids club, the Aspadeva spa and the many out lets. This time we tried the InAzia. They provide all the major Asian food, Thai, Indian Chinese, etc. The breakfast is at good quality with many items to choose from. The only thing I can complain about is the juice, especially orange juice. It’s not 100% OJ.

Beef massamun one of my favorite dish at  InAzia.

I would have to say the main attraction for this trip was the pool access room. It is the same as garden rooms but from the balcony you can plunge in the pool. That makes the experience much more enjoyable.
