Marriott is pleased to announce JW Marriott Khao Lak’s
Newest General Manager



 

Bangkok, Thailand -   We are excited to announce that Ty Collins has taken up his new assignment as General Manager of JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa.

Having been part of the Marriott family for 15 years, he first started with the Marriott Group at the Renaissance Austin Texas in March 1995 and the Renaissance Wailea Beach Resort thereafter.    He became Director of Rooms for JW Phuket Resort & Spa and MH Phuket Beach Club in May 2002 whilst providing support as General Manager for the MEA Bangkok Mayfair.  From this experience, he ventured to Seoul, South Korea and managed the MEA Yeouido Park Centre and Soo Fitness and Spa also as General Manager.  Prior to coming back to Thailand, he took posting as General Manager of the Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Center and Courtyard by Marriott Hyderabad in India.

With much history with us, we would like to congratulate Ty and wish him a wonderful experience and much success in his new assignment at JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa, a new Marriott chapter in their books.  We look forward to his contribution, shared expertise and great management skills to lead one of our very distinctive island properties in Thailand.
