Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Tareq Bagaeen as the new Director of Sales and Marketing of Banyan Tree Bangkok.  In his role, Tareq will be responsible for delivering the top line of the hotel operation, through all activities involving Sales and Marketing planning, conceptualizing promotional and tactical strategies and overall accountability for the day-to-day communication of sales, revenue management and reservation forces in the hotel.

Tareq who is of Italian and Jordanian decent, began his 10 year long career in the industry within Sales & Marketing and has worked in Europe, Middle East and Asia primarily with Ritz-Carlton and most recently at Grand Hyatt.

Tareq is very excited to be part of the team of the newly renovated Banyan Tree Bangkok, an iconic destination for leisure and business travellers. The 61-storey property is famed for its open-air rooftop restaurant Vertigo Grill and Moon Bar which serves a stunning 360 degree panoramic view of the city and the award-winning Banyan Tree Spa for Asian-inspired holistic treatments.
