“CHARITY WINE DINNER”
 AT BANYAN TREE BANGKOK 


 

Bangkok, Thailand April 2011- In commemoration of Earth Day, Banyan Tree Bangkok recently    organized an exclusive “Charity Wine Dinner” at Pier 59 Restaurant, on 21st April 2011.

The event was attended by honourable guests who savoured an extraordinary dinner pared with wines from the Washington winery Snoqualmie. The highlight of the evening was the bidding auction which took place during the course of the dinner. Banyan Tree Bangkok will contribute the total net profits from the event, in the amount of Baht 30,700 or USD 1,023 to the Oceanic Preservation Society (OPS),a non- profit organization which creates awareness and inspires appreciation for oceans’ preservation.

This is in line with the Banyan Tree Group’s marine conservation efforts to generate greater awareness and support activities to preserve the Earth’s Natural Environments, and our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) philosophy of “embracing the environment, empowering the people”.
